The demand for low-stress remote jobs is rising as professionals seek financial stability, flexibility, and work-life balance. According to MyPerfectResume’s Remote Work Divide report, 51% of employees would quit immediately if faced with a non-negotiable return-to-office (RTO) policy, while 40% would actively look for a remote job.
To help job seekers navigate this shift, MyPerfectResume, a leading career resource platform, analyzed U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data to identify 15 High-Paying, Low-Stress Remote Jobs to Apply for in 2025. These roles offer competitive salaries, low workplace stress, and full remote work potential.
How the Jobs Were Selected
The study used BLS occupational employment projections (2021–2031) and followed a structured process to identify top-growing, low-stress remote jobs. The selection criteria included:
- Positive job growth projections
- Median annual salary above $46,310 (2022 U.S. median, per BLS)
- Exclusion of vague job categories
- Ranking based on a geometric mean of salary and job growth
To refine the list, researchers also analyzed BLS’s Occupational Outlook Handbook and O*NET’s Stress Tolerance Page. The final list of 15 jobs met the following key criteria:
- Stress tolerance rating of 60 or below (per O*NET)
- Median annual salary of $48,060 or higher
- Job feasibility for remote work based on industry standards
