Appspace Strengthens Leadership Team to Scale AI-Driven Workplace Platform

Appspace, a leading workplace experience platform, has appointed Eric Daggett as Chief Sales Officer and Dan Ward as Chief Technology Officer, bolstering its leadership team as the company scales its AI-powered product suite and expands its global enterprise footprint.

The global workplace is undergoing a fundamental reset, with enterprises demanding unified platforms to manage costs, optimize space, and engage employees—from desk-based staff to frontline teams. Appspace’s new leadership aims to accelerate this mission while delivering measurable outcomes for customers.

Driving Global Enterprise Growth

Daggett brings more than 25 years of enterprise sales leadership, having held senior roles at IBM, MuleSoft, Salesforce, and Conga. He will focus on scaling Appspace’s market reach and strengthening partnerships with large organizations worldwide.

“Appspace is defining the workplace experience category at exactly the moment the market is demanding it,” said Pete Schmied, CEO of Appspace. “Eric knows how to win at scale, and more importantly, how to turn that into real outcomes for customers.”

Daggett succeeds Steve Terp, who recently retired after establishing Appspace’s market presence during a foundational growth period.

Scaling AI-Driven Product Innovation

Ward joins as Chief Technology Officer, bringing deep expertise in cloud-native SaaS platforms. Previously CTO at MHC, Ward oversaw a platform processing over $34 billion in transactions. At Appspace, he will lead development of high-growth product lines and the underlying AI architecture, including Appspace Intelligence Assistants, which turn fragmented workplace data into actionable insights across digital signage, intranet, and space management.

“Dan brings the technical depth and operational discipline required to lead the next era of workplace innovation,” Schmied said. “As AI reshapes how companies operate, we’re not iterating—we’re already ahead and pushing further.”

Expanding the Future of Work

These executive additions come as Appspace solidifies its category leadership. The company recently acquired Igloo Software, boosting intranet capabilities, and earned No. 1 on the G2 Grid Report for Space Management. With Daggett and Ward on board, Appspace is positioned to accelerate growth, drive AI innovation, and continue defining the modern workplace experience.

“Our mission is to help organizations connect their people, places, and spaces to create a workplace employees love,” Schmied said. “With Eric and Dan, we’re accelerating our lead and delivering even greater impact for our customers.”
