Siteimprove, best known for its agentic content intelligence platform, is bolstering its leadership bench with the appointment of Ritesh Daryani as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Based in Bellevue, Washington, Daryani will report directly to CEO Nayaki Nayyar.
The hire signals Siteimprove’s intent to scale both its workforce and culture as it pushes deeper into the competitive digital experience and AI-driven content intelligence space.
A Veteran in Scaling Tech Teams
Daryani comes with more than 20 years of HR leadership across global tech companies, with a résumé that reads like a tour of the industry’s heavy hitters: GE, HCL, CSC, IBM, Infosys, Expedia, and most recently Edifecs.
At Edifecs, where he spent a decade as Chief People Officer, Daryani tripled the workforce from 450 to 1,300 employees and helped drive revenue growth from $70 million to $300 million, culminating in the company’s acquisition by Cotiviti. Along the way, he built a reputation for fostering a mission-driven, employee-first culture that earned multiple workplace accolades, including Great Place to Work® certification and GeekWire’s Workplace of the Year.
Building Culture at Scale
In his first statement as CHRO, Daryani struck a collaborative tone:
“Building a great workplace isn’t the work of a single initiative or department—it’s all of us, working together, to make Siteimprove an even better place to work.”
CEO Nayaki Nayyar called the appointment a pivotal moment, adding that Daryani’s “deep expertise in building world-class teams will be instrumental in shaping our culture and empowering our people to achieve extraordinary results.”
Why It Matters
Siteimprove has been evolving quickly under Nayyar’s leadership, aiming to position itself as a leader in AI-powered content intelligence at a time when digital accessibility and compliance are top-of-mind for enterprises. Adding a seasoned HR leader with experience navigating hypergrowth and acquisitions could help the company attract and retain the kind of talent it needs to stay ahead of rivals like Optimizely, Adobe, and Contentful.
For Siteimprove, the bet is clear: culture and talent strategy aren’t back-office concerns—they’re competitive differentiators in the fight for enterprise adoption of AI-driven content platforms.
