O’Connell began his career at SThree, where he quickly became the top biller, before co-founding Timothy James Consulting as CEO. After growing the business, he successfully sold it in 2011 and exited in 2014. Over the years, O’Connell has held various executive director roles, advising and coaching numerous recruitment firms on scaling, mergers, and acquisitions.
