Quickbase Appoints New CFO, CISO, CTO, and Chief of Staff to Drive Growth

Quickbase, the AI-powered work management platform, has announced a series of executive leadership changes to strengthen its focus on growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Tim Daniels has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Steve Webber. Additionally, Deepali Bhoite joins Quickbase as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The company also announced the promotions of Jon Kennedy to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Pino Soro to Chief of Staff, with both appointments effective immediately.

Daniels brings a wealth of financial leadership experience from his roles at Momentus Technologies and Cove Hill Partners. His past roles also include serving as CFO of OpsGenie (now part of Atlassian) and Vice President of Finance at Turbonomic (now part of IBM). He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Bhoite, an enterprise software and cybersecurity veteran with over two decades of experience, joins from Anaplan. Her expertise spans Identity and Access Management (IAM), Application Security, and Vulnerability Management. She has previously held leadership positions at ServiceNow, IBM, and USG. Bhoite holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University and has completed leadership training at the Berkeley Haas School of Business.

“I’m excited to add two leaders with such strong backgrounds in financial and technology leadership,” said Ed Jennings, CEO of Quickbase. “Tim’s proven track record of aligning financial strategy with business objectives and Deepali’s expertise in fostering a culture of proactive risk management will be crucial as we continue to scale our business efficiently and effectively.”

Steve Webber, the outgoing CFO, has played a pivotal role in doubling Quickbase’s revenue and strengthening its financial position since 2020. He will continue serving as Chief Operating Officer through the first quarter of 2025 before transitioning to an advisory role.

Jon Kennedy, who joined Quickbase in 2020 as Vice President of Engineering, has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Kennedy will focus on advancing Quickbase’s technology strategy, driving innovation, scalability, and growth.

Pino Soro, who joined Quickbase in April 2024 as Senior Vice President of Operations, has now been promoted to Chief of Staff. Soro will support the executive leadership team, ensuring smooth operations and communication to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
