Skillsoft, a leader in transformative learning experiences, has announced the appointment of Jim Frankola and Fahd Beg to its Board of Directors, effective July 18, 2024. This strategic addition aims to bolster Skillsoft’s go-to-market strategy, enhance AI-powered learning experiences, and deliver greater value to customers and shareholders.
- Jim Frankola: A seasoned technology executive with over three decades of leadership and operational experience, Jim Frankola recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Cloudera and is currently a director on the Ansys, Inc. board. Frankola’s extensive background in finance and technology is expected to bring valuable strategic insights to Skillsoft.
- Fahd Beg: An Investment Partner at Prosus N.V., one of the world’s largest technology investors and operators, Fahd Beg is recognized for his leadership at the intersection of technology and education. His experience and vision align with Skillsoft’s mission to lead the global shift in talent development through innovative, AI-centric learning solutions.

Skillsoft also announced that Lawrence Illg, who has served as a director since 2021, has stepped down from the Board effective July 18, 2024.
