TriNet Appoints Sidney Majalya as New Chief Legal Officer

TriNet, a leading provider of comprehensive human resources solutions for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has announced Sidney Majalya as its new Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary, effective September 16. Majalya succeeds Samantha Wellington, who is leaving after eight years to pursue new opportunities.

New Appointment

  • Sidney Majalya’s Background: With 25 years of experience in legal, risk, and compliance roles, Majalya most recently served as TriNet’s Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. His previous roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Binance.US, and senior positions at Intel, Uber Technologies, and Oracle. Majalya also has a background as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice.
  • Education: Majalya holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
