With over 20 years of experience in driving revenue growth, enhancing partner satisfaction, and securing impactful partnerships, Shane will play a key role in strengthening Simplilearn’s collaborations with top universities, institutions, and industry partners.
In his new position, Shane will lead partner management efforts for both Simplilearn and Fullstack Academy, focusing on driving new business development and ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. His expertise in relationship management and market expansion will contribute to Simplilearn’s mission of delivering high-quality digital learning experiences to professionals across the globe.
Extensive Experience in Strategic Partnerships
Prior to joining Simplilearn, Shane Clem led Partnerships at Coursera, where he worked with universities to expand their online program portfolios. He also held leadership roles at Boundless Learning (formerly part of Pearson Online Learning Services) and Pearson, where he spearheaded the growth of online degree and certificate programs in collaboration with university partners.
In addition to his experience in the ed-tech sector, Shane has a rich background in higher education management. He previously led multi-site growth across 26 locations at EDMC-Brown Mackie College and managed a P&L of over $200 million at Everest University, consistently delivering year-over-year growth.
Shane holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from the University of Central Florida.
