IT Masters, Australia’s leading online postgraduate IT educator, has officially launched its online academic CompTIA store. This initiative aims to simplify the process for IT professionals seeking valuable certifications to enhance their careers.
“Being one of the few, if only, postgraduate degree providers to recognise the value of industry certifications as credit in our degree courses, we wanted to extend to our students the ability to obtain those certifications from IT Masters, at special rates discounted by up to 30%,” said Chantelle Hale, CEO of IT Masters. “We can now help with your IT education journey from newbie to CIO.”
IT Masters offers free short courses covering various IT subjects, some of which align directly with selected CompTIA certifications. Students can purchase official CompTIA Learn and Labs packages and exam vouchers at discounted rates through the new store. Upon passing the exams and receiving certifications, students can apply these credits toward postgraduate courses in approved subjects.
“We have two CompTIA-aligned free short courses already available – Security+ and Pentest+,” Hale added. “We will add more over time. These pathways are very cost-effective ways of obtaining credit towards a master’s degree as well as providing critical skills to IT professionals as they grow in their career.”

In collaboration with CompTIA, IT Masters will host a webinar on February 27th at 7 PM (Sydney time). The session will demonstrate how industry certifications and postgraduate courses can seamlessly combine to offer continuous career-long learning, shorten course durations, and provide cost-effective pathways into postgraduate studies.
