First National Bank Earns Multiple Top Workplaces Awards for Culture, Well-Being, and Career Growth

First National Bank (FNB), the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB), is once again proving that strong performance and strong culture can go hand in hand. The regional financial leader earned three National Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards and a regional Top Workplaces honor for Charlotte, North Carolina, underscoring its ongoing commitment to employee engagement and well-being.

The recognition comes from Energage, a third-party research firm that measures workplace culture based entirely on anonymous employee feedback. The results identify organizations that excel in creating environments where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow.

“FNB’s recognition from respected third-party workplace awards reflects the strength of our culture and the dedication of our employees,” said Vincent J. Delie, Jr., Chairman, President, and CEO of F.N.B. Corporation and First National Bank. “Their innovative spirit drives our success and enables us to attract top talent who share our values and vision.”

A Culture That Grows With Its People

FNB was honored for Culture Excellence in three categories:

  • Professional Development: For its focus on helping employees grow their careers through learning, mentorship, and leadership programs.

  • Employee Appreciation: For fostering an environment of recognition, where achievements—big and small—are celebrated.

  • Employee Well-Being: For making health, wellness, and balance a core part of the workplace experience.

Notably, 2025 marks the third consecutive year that FNB has earned all three national distinctions—evidence of sustained investment in employee experience rather than one-off initiatives.

Local Recognition in Charlotte

FNB also took home the Charlotte Top Workplaces award from Charlotte Magazine for the fourth year in a row. The recognition highlights FNB’s growing regional footprint and influence since establishing its Charlotte presence in 2017. Today, the bank operates 17 branches in the metro area and nearly 100 across North Carolina—a sign that its expansion is matched by cultural consistency.

National Momentum: Recognition Across the Board

This latest recognition caps a standout year for FNB. In 2025 alone, the company has been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces and one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Financial Services by Newsweek, and a Top Workplace USA by Energage and USA Today.

The bank has also drawn national attention for its leadership excellence and responsible corporate citizenship—including CEO Vincent J. Delie, Jr., who was recently named U.S. CEO of the Year by The Digital Banker.

What It Means for the Industry

In an era when banks face fierce competition for top talent and customer trust, FNB’s continued workplace accolades are more than good PR—they’re a strategic differentiator. While many financial institutions focus on technology or cost optimization, FNB’s model centers on people-first growth, linking employee development directly to client experience and community impact.

By aligning career mobility, well-being, and recognition under one cultural framework, FNB has positioned itself as a modern financial employer of choice—one that understands that the best customer service begins with a motivated workforce.
