Zendesk Expands Microsoft Partnership With AI-Powered Integrations for Employee Service

Zendesk, a pioneer in AI-powered service, is deepening its collaboration with Microsoft through two new integrations: Microsoft Agent 365 and Zendesk Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot. These solutions bring Zendesk’s AI-powered service directly into Microsoft’s ecosystem, enabling seamless, secure, and intelligent employee support within the tools employees use every day.

Microsoft Agent 365: Autonomous AI Management

As a launch partner for Microsoft Agent 365, Zendesk provides autonomous management of AI agents within Microsoft’s secure environment. Agent 365 acts as a control plane, allowing Zendesk AI to manage tickets, access knowledge bases, and maintain communication while leveraging Microsoft’s compliance and security frameworks.

Zendesk Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot: AI Support Inside Your Workflow

The Zendesk Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot brings AI-driven support directly into Microsoft 365 apps. Employees can submit tickets, check statuses, add notes, and escalate issues—all without leaving their workflow.

“Our collaboration with Microsoft on Agent 365 and Microsoft 365 Copilot is a pivotal moment for Zendesk,” said Craig Flower, Zendesk CIO. “By integrating with these platforms, we are empowering customers with both autonomous and streamlined support capabilities, optimizing operations, and delivering a more efficient employee experience within Microsoft 365.”

Driving Smarter Employee Service

With rising demand and limited resources, IT, HR, and Finance teams are under pressure to deliver faster, more personalized support. Zendesk’s AI-powered Resolution Platform, integrated with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent 365, simplifies operations, accelerates resolutions, and enables teams to deliver exceptional employee experiences at scale.

The integrations provide:

  • Faster resolution times and higher productivity by embedding AI support in everyday workflows

  • Secure, compliant management of AI assistants within Microsoft governance frameworks

  • Enhanced visibility and auditable workflows, enabling safe scaling of AI-powered services

“AI is transforming how organizations deliver employee service, and Microsoft’s collaboration with Zendesk is leading that change,” said Srini Raghavan, Corporate VP of Copilot & Agents Ecosystem, Microsoft. “This integration allows employees to resolve IT, HR, and Finance issues seamlessly within the tools they use every day.”

The Zendesk Agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot will be available on the Zendesk Marketplace starting November 21, marking the next step in AI-driven employee service innovation.
