Tracker Expands Platform to Connect Payroll, Compliance, and Back-Office for Staffing Agencies

Tracker, the staffing-focused workforce management platform, is closing a long-standing gap in agency technology by connecting the entire recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and placement to timesheets, billing, expense management, compliance, onboarding, and payroll—all within a single system.

“Staffing agencies have been stitching together technology for too long just to run the core of their business,” said Andy Jones, CEO of Tracker. “We built Tracker to change that. Front office, back office, payroll, all connected in one place.”

Payroll Integrations Bring Visibility and Speed

Payroll has historically operated as a disconnected function for staffing agencies, requiring manual exports, duplicate entries, and reconciliation. Tracker’s payroll integrations now enable hours to flow directly to payroll providers with a single click or automatic transfer while keeping processing within the provider’s system.

Current integrations include Everee, EmployDrive, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Sage Online, and Xero, with Greenshades and RSM Intime coming soon.

“Workers are choosing employers that pay the same day a shift ends,” said Brett Barlow, CEO of Everee. “Our partnership with Tracker connects real-time payroll to the platform agencies use every day, shortening the gap between placement and paycheck.”

Denise Garber, Controller at trak group, added, “Tracker cut our onboarding time in half and automated our payroll process end to end. They don’t just implement a system—they figure it out with you.”

Back-Office Capabilities Now Live

Tracker’s enhanced back-office suite now includes:

  • Online timesheets with automated checks, approvals, and bulk invoice/payroll generation
  • Expense management with AI-assisted receipt scanning and automated reminders
  • White-labeled candidate portal covering timesheets, expenses, compliance, and availability on any device
  • Onboarding workflows with customizable, client-specific processes and mobile-first candidate experience
  • Integrated I-9, E-Verify, and e-signature for employment eligibility verification
  • AI-powered compliance library tracking federal, state, and local regulations, including payroll withholdings and WOTC
  • Document management with automated alerts for expiring or missing certifications
  • Assignment and project management with card, list, and Gantt views and real-time progress tracking
  • Candidate planner with live availability, attendance monitoring, and running contract visibility

For larger agencies, Tracker has also released a full RESTful Open API, allowing custom integrations across broader technology ecosystems.

By bringing payroll, compliance, and back-office operations together in one system, Tracker aims to reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and give staffing agencies the infrastructure needed to compete for talent in a fast-moving market.
