Department of Veterans Affairs Secures Medallia for Enterprise-Wide SaaS Experience IDIQ

Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract will help VA accelerate the ability to personalize Veteran and employee experience

Medallia, Inc., the global leader in customer and employee experience, today announced that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has established an enterprise-wide acquisition of Medallia Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology in order to meet its agency goals and continue to lead the government in operational experience management.

Under this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, VA Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) issued a requirement to use Medallia’s Enterprise Customer Experience SaaS Suite to meet its mission of providing Veterans, families, caregivers, survivors, and support teams with an “easy, intuitive, and personalized experience when interacting with the VA.”

“VA has emerged as a leading organization for their commitment and extensive work to improve experience for Veterans and their families, alongside their employees,” said Joe Tyrrell, CEO, Medallia. “VA’s vision to align personalization with improved experience is at the heart of Medallia’s vision for the future, which is to personalize every experience. We are incredibly proud to continue to support VA in this forward-thinking approach to serving those who have served.”

An IDIQ contract vehicle for Medallia has been awarded to DecisionPoint Corporation, a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

“It’s a privilege for DecisionPoint to play an essential role in supporting critical programs designed to enhance the quality of lives of millions of Veterans,” said Brian Flood, Founder & CEO, DecisionPoint Corporation. “We are proud to partner with Medallia on this exceptionally important mission.”
