Roborock’s first-half 2026 results offer a snapshot of that shift. The company reported RMB 10.084 billion in revenue, up 27.6% year over year, while net profit attributable to shareholders increased 45.6% to RMB 986 million. At the same time, Roborock is extending its robotics platform from floors into pools and gardens, signaling a strategy built around a wider autonomous-cleaning ecosystem.
Roborock’s Growth Story Is Becoming a Robotics Story
For years, the consumer robotics market was largely defined by one question: how effectively can a robot clean a floor?
That question is becoming less important as manufacturers push autonomy into more parts of the home.
Roborock’s latest financial results and product launches illustrate that transition. The company reported RMB 10.084 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, representing 27.6% year-over-year growth. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 45.6% to RMB 986 million.
The company also said it was ranked the world’s No. 1 robotic vacuum cleaner brand by both IDC and Euromonitor International, using different measurement periods and methodologies.
The numbers matter, but the more interesting development is what Roborock is doing with its technology platform.
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, the company showcased new robot vacuums and wet-dry cleaning devices while moving into two additional environments: swimming pools and gardens.
That expansion points toward a future in which household robotics is less about a single appliance and more about a collection of autonomous machines working across different physical environments.
International markets remain a major growth engine
Roborock’s international business continued to expand during the first half of 2026, according to the company.
During Amazon Prime Day 2026, Roborock ranked first in the robotic vacuum category in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States and Canada.
Europe was particularly important. Roborock reported a 45% share of the robotic vacuum market in the region, with unit sales increasing 24% year over year. Its wet-dry vacuum unit sales grew 112%.
North America also delivered strong growth, with the company reporting a 33% robotic vacuum market share and a 30% increase in unit sales.
The figures indicate that the premium robotic-cleaning market is no longer confined to early adopters. As consumers become familiar with automated navigation, obstacle avoidance, docking stations and increasingly sophisticated cleaning systems, manufacturers have more opportunities to introduce higher-value products.
Asia-Pacific provides another growth story
Roborock’s expansion has also been pronounced across Asia-Pacific.
The company says it ranked first in both unit shipments and sales value in Australia, Korea, Taiwan and Türkiye from the first quarter of 2023 through the first quarter of 2026.
South Korea has been particularly important for the premium segment. Roborock says it maintained more than 70% share of the premium robotic vacuum category, while its S10 MaxV Ultra generated approximately KRW 28 billion in sales during its first ten days on the market following its February 2026 launch.
In Japan, the company is expanding its premium retail footprint through its relationship with Yamada Denki, including dedicated displays and nationwide availability of flagship models.
The broader strategy is notable because Roborock is not relying on a single global formula. Its technology platform remains global, while distribution, retail presentation, marketing and service strategies are adapted to individual markets.
That balance is becoming increasingly important as consumer robotics moves from specialist technology into mainstream household appliances.
R&D remains central to the business
Roborock spent RMB 720 million on research and development during the first half of 2026, up 5.11% year over year and equivalent to 7.14% of revenue, according to the company.
Its technology efforts span intelligent navigation, environmental perception, cleaning systems and robotic mobility.
The company’s strategy increasingly involves combining these technologies at the system level rather than treating each feature as an isolated specification.
That distinction matters.
A sophisticated navigation system has limited value if a robot cannot clean effectively. Advanced cleaning hardware becomes less useful if the machine cannot understand its environment. Sensors, mobility, software and cleaning mechanisms must work together if the robot is expected to operate with minimal human supervision.
This systems-level approach is becoming a defining characteristic of advanced home robotics.

Roborock’s IFA 2026 lineup provides a clearer picture of that strategy.
The company’s latest robot vacuums and wet-dry vacuums focus on capabilities including steam-based cleaning, adaptive cleaning and whole-home versatility.
But the more unconventional product is the Roborock Saros Rover, which introduces a two-wheel-leg architecture intended to help robots move beyond conventional flat-floor environments.
That is a significant engineering direction.
Most household cleaning robots operate in predictable two-dimensional environments. Introducing leg-based mobility suggests an attempt to make autonomous machines more capable of handling changes in terrain and physical obstacles.
Roborock is also expanding outside the home.
The RockAqua P1 marks the company’s entry into intelligent pool cleaning, while the RockNeo Q2 LiDAR robotic mower extends autonomous cleaning and maintenance into gardens.
Together, these products broaden the company’s addressable market from indoor floors to multiple surfaces and environments.
The smart-home ecosystem is becoming more specialised
Roborock’s expansion reflects a broader trend across consumer technology.
