For the second year in a row, BorgWarner has earned a spot on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Employers for Engineers, cementing its reputation as one of the country’s top workplaces for engineering talent.
The 2026 ranking, conducted in partnership with Statista, places BorgWarner among the Top 175 U.S. employers for engineers—a recognition drawn from a nationwide survey of over 28,000 professionals working at organizations with more than 1,000 employees across industries.
A Data-Driven Recognition of Consistent Excellence
The Forbes–Statista study examined data spanning three years and included more than 900,000 employer evaluations. Unlike one-off satisfaction snapshots, the multi-year analysis highlights companies that demonstrate sustained performance and cultural strength, not just temporary success.
Participants provided both personal evaluations (from employees) and public evaluations (from peers, friends, and industry professionals). Factors such as compensation, workplace culture, employee satisfaction, professional development, and employer reputation all contributed to the final rankings.
That long-term consistency, Forbes noted, separates employers that “get it right every year” from those who only occasionally do.
A Culture Built for Innovation and Inclusion
For BorgWarner, the recognition reflects more than brand prestige—it’s a validation of its evolving engineering culture.
“We are excited to be recognized for the second year in a row by Forbes as one of America’s Best Employers for Engineers,” said Tania Wingfield, Chief Human Resources Officer at BorgWarner. “This achievement reflects the dedication and ingenuity of our engineering teams, who continue to drive innovation and position BorgWarner as a global product leader.”
Wingfield highlighted BorgWarner’s ongoing investment in its engineering workforce through initiatives such as its Power to Evolve skills agility program and structured mentorship programs, designed to prepare talent for both combustion and electric vehicle technologies.
As the automotive industry rapidly shifts toward electrification, BorgWarner’s approach to nurturing cross-functional and future-ready engineering skills helps sustain its competitive edge while appealing to top-tier talent seeking meaningful, innovative work.
Engineering the Future, Together
This latest honor reinforces BorgWarner’s long-standing commitment to fostering a workplace where creativity, technical excellence, and collaboration thrive. By combining cutting-edge product innovation with people-first development, the company continues to attract and retain some of the industry’s best engineering minds.
It’s not just another plaque on the wall—it’s evidence that BorgWarner’s people strategy is powering as much progress as its technology.
