In the HR world, where “community” often means another Slack group or a once-a-year conference, HiBob is trying something different. The company behind Bob, its people management platform, has announced In Good Company—a new global hub for HR professionals and people-first leaders who want to reimagine how work works.
HiBob says the initiative is designed for the doers—the HR professionals, managers, and emerging leaders who build culture, not just talk about it. The community will blend online collaboration with in-person experiences, offering exclusive content, events, and opportunities to connect directly with experts and peers worldwide.
“Real HR leaders talking about real HR issues—that’s what we’ve been craving,” says Christine Song, Founder of 5 to 9 Society.
A New Kind of HR Network
The move comes at a time when HR teams are under intense pressure to navigate AI transformation, hybrid work, and retention fatigue—all while championing employee well-being. “In Good Company” aims to serve as both a knowledge-sharing network and a support system for leaders driving people-first change from within.
Members will gain access to expert insights and discussions from thought leaders like Leila McKenzie-Delis, Jessica Zwaan, Hebba Youssef, and HiBob’s own leadership team. Upcoming topics range from embedding belonging in hybrid workplaces to aligning people strategies with evolving business goals.
“The diversity of perspectives is exactly what leaders need right now,” adds Adam Weber, Chief Evangelist at 15Five.
Going Beyond Digital
HiBob isn’t stopping at online forums. The company plans to host In Good Company Live events in major cities around the world—think of them as HR’s answer to TED Talks, with a focus on actionable ideas and shared challenges.
According to Sophie Chesters, HiBob’s Chief Marketing Officer, the goal is bigger than just networking:
“This isn’t just a community—it’s a movement to help leaders create workplaces where people truly thrive.”
