HR Acuity, a leader in employee relations (ER) case management and investigations software, hosted its 2025 Employee Relations Roundtable last week in Boston, gathering top HR leaders from Fortune 500 and global enterprises to tackle complex workplace issues before they escalate.
Launched a decade ago as a small peer exchange, the Roundtable has evolved into a cornerstone for enterprise ER leaders. Over the years, it has helped standardize investigation timelines, aftercare processes, and metrics that now guide hundreds of organizations.
“The Employee Relations Roundtable isn’t just a professional event. It’s where real innovation happens in employee relations,” said Deb Muller, founder and CEO of HR Acuity. “Employee relations leaders needed a space to connect with peers who truly understand the weight and complexity of this work. Seeing this community grow over the past decade has been incredibly rewarding.”
Unlike larger conferences, the Roundtable’s small-group, confidential format encourages candid discussion. Attendees share real-world challenges, benchmark policies, and test strategies collaboratively to improve transparency, consistency, and trust within their organizations.
This year, HR Acuity recognized four standout leaders in the employee relations space. The 2025 Employee Relations Leader Award went to Michele Sommer of OpenText and Allison Kramer Deeb of AIG for their strategic contributions to people-first ER practices. Meanwhile, the empowER™ Community Award, celebrating members who strengthen the HR Acuity network, was awarded to Nathan Singer of Confluent and Rachel Greer of Yelp.
“These winners exemplify the spirit of collaboration,” Muller noted. “They don’t just bring questions—they actively contribute solutions and guidance, shaping the community for everyone.”
The event also highlights HR Acuity’s expanding thought-leadership footprint. CEO Deb Muller recently spoke at LaborVision Forum on essential ER and labor metrics and presented to CUPA-HR on reimagining employee relations in higher education—demonstrating the company’s growing influence in shaping industry best practices.
For HR professionals, particularly those managing large, complex workforces, HR Acuity’s Roundtable reinforces the importance of peer-driven insights, strategic frameworks, and actionable benchmarks in navigating modern employee relations challenges.
