Global HR consulting powerhouse HR Path is deepening its roots in Australia and New Zealand with the acquisition of RKM Consulting, a local HRIS specialist with a strong track record in SAP SuccessFactors.
HR Path—already active in 28 countries with 2,500+ professionals—offers consulting, implementation, and outsourcing services for HR technology. The move strengthens its position in the SAP HCM market while giving the Paris-headquartered company more boots on the ground in a region where it’s been steadily building presence since acquiring DDG in 2019 and opening an Australian office in 2024.
RKM Consulting, founded in 2000, has carved out a niche in helping clients select, implement, and optimize HRIS platforms. Its client-first ethos aligns with HR Path’s global strategy of blending local expertise with enterprise-scale delivery.
“This acquisition represents an important milestone in our growth journey in Australia and New Zealand,” said Suraj KK, Managing Director of HR Path ANZ.
“We will maintain our commitment to exceptional client service while exploring new opportunities with HR Path,” added Rob Makinson, Managing Director of RKM Consulting.
Why It Matters
The HR tech integration space is heating up, with multinational consultancies racing to secure specialized local talent and deepen platform-specific capabilities. For HR Path, absorbing RKM means not just expanding its headcount, but also importing deep regional know-how and a trusted client base in the SAP ecosystem.
With HRIS modernization projects still high on the corporate agenda—especially in post-pandemic workforce planning—this deal positions HR Path to compete more aggressively against the likes of Deloitte, PwC, and regional SAP specialists in the ANZ market.
