Infosys Partners with Telenor Shared Services to Modernize HR with Oracle Cloud HCM

Infosys (NSE: INFY, BSE: INFY, NYSE: INFY) has joined forces with Telenor Shared Services (TSS) to overhaul the telecom giant’s HR operations with Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). The collaboration aims to streamline HR processes, enhance employee experience, and unify multiple business functions on a single, cloud-based platform.

The project will integrate HR, financial, supply chain, and project portfolio management systems, providing TSS with end-to-end digital visibility. Advanced analytics and dashboards are expected to improve decision-making and data accuracy, while breaking down operational silos across the organization.

Morten Dean Dunham, CEO of TSS, highlighted the strategic importance of the move: “Modernizing our HR operations is crucial to improve efficiencies and employee experience. This collaboration will provide a unified view of critical data and ultimately enhance the experience of our employees.”

Oracle’s embedded AI and cloud capabilities play a key role. Yvette Cameron, SVP of Global HCM Product Strategy at Oracle, said the initiative will help TSS standardize HR processes and harness AI-powered insights to stay ahead of competition.

Infosys, leveraging its deep expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM implementations, is tackling system integration and data management challenges to deliver a cohesive, modern HR platform. Upendra Kohli, EVP for Communication, Media and Technology at Infosys, noted that the project “positions TSS at the forefront of HR transformation, driving a competitive advantage in the market.”

The partnership underscores a growing trend in the telecom sector: moving legacy HR systems to cloud-based, AI-driven platforms to improve operational efficiency, workforce engagement, and business agility. For Infosys, it’s another high-profile win in the Oracle Cloud ecosystem, where it competes with Accenture, Wipro, and other global integrators.

By centralizing HR, finance, and supply chain management, TSS is not just upgrading technology—it’s rethinking how employees, partners, and suppliers interact with the company. In an industry where talent management and operational efficiency directly impact competitiveness, the stakes are high.

As more organizations in telecom and beyond embrace cloud-first HR strategies, collaborations like Infosys and TSS signal that integrated, analytics-driven HR platforms are no longer a luxury—they’re a strategic imperative.
