JobNet Group Debuts Cambodia Professional HR Series, Showcasing AI-Powered Recruitment Solutions

JobNet Group has officially entered Cambodia’s HR and recruitment technology market with its first Cambodia Professional HR Series, hosted at Novotel Hotel, BKK1. The event drew over 180 HR professionals and business leaders from more than 70 of the Kingdom’s top companies, marking a major step in the company’s regional expansion.

The series featured two panel discussions, spotlighting HR leadership, talent acquisition strategies, and business resilience in Cambodia’s evolving economic landscape.

Panel 1: Strategic HR Leadership

Moderated by Justin Sway, Group CEO of JobNet Cambodia & Myanmar, the first panel explored HR’s role as a strategic driver rather than an administrative function. Panelists, including Grant Honeyman (RMA Cambodia), Salin Ly (Sathapana Bank), and Chenda Khak (Smart Axiata), emphasized:

  • Giving HR a stronger voice at the leadership table

  • Proactive workforce planning and upskilling

  • Aligning employee strategies with organizational goals

Panel 2: Building Resilient, High-Performance Teams

The second panel, conducted in Khmer and moderated by Pisey Vann, focused on workforce resilience. Speakers like Sheanghai Lao (Royal Group), Rithy Lim (Prince Bank), and Chenda Keo (Forte Insurance) discussed:

  • Attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive market

  • Skill development, clear career pathways, and fair compensation

  • Leveraging technology to enhance recruitment efficiency

Consensus across the discussion: long-term business success hinges on strategic HR leadership and employee loyalty.

JobNet’s Vision and AI Recruitment Solutions

In his keynote, Justin Sway outlined JobNet’s vision for Cambodia, drawing on its 25+ years of experience and market leadership in Myanmar. The company is rolling out AI-powered recruitment tools, including:

  • SMART AI CV-Matching Technology

  • Employer Branding solutions

  • Data-driven recruitment analytics

  • Upcoming Salary Survey (early 2026)

Our advanced AI technology is paving the way for easier, smarter and faster hiring,” Sway said. “We aim to become a key partner in Cambodia’s HR ecosystem.”

Market Growth and Platform Expansion

Sean Hope, Head of Customer Solutions, reported strong early adoption of JobNet’s Cambodian platform. Launched in June 2025, JobNet.com.kh is already attracting hundreds of thousands of monthly job seeker visits, with projections to double traffic by December 2025.

The platform will also expand to multi-language support, including Khmer, Chinese, and Vietnamese, alongside English, enabling broader access for multinational employers and job seekers alike. New AI-powered features, such as job alerts and enhanced Premium Employer Profiles, aim to improve employer branding and streamline hiring across Cambodia.
