Kuder, a career assessment and technology provider, has launched a new career-planning course in Singapore that connects its existing assessments with practical guidance on skills, occupations and training pathways.

The free, self-paced course, “Leveraging Your Skills for Career Planning,” is designed to help users move from self-assessment to action. Participants learn how to identify transferable skills and connect them with roles and training opportunities relevant to Singapore’s economy.

That shift is important because career technology has traditionally focused heavily on assessment: identifying interests, personality characteristics or perceived strengths and then suggesting occupations. Kuder’s new offering puts more emphasis on what happens next—how a person turns that information into a career decision.

Kuder has worked with Singapore’s public-sector ecosystem since 2016 to localize its career assessments for the country’s users, from secondary-school students through adults considering career transitions. The assessments examine three areas: career interests, skills confidence and work values. According to Kuder, users can receive a personalized report in less than 20 minutes at no cost.

The company’s assessment model is not simply an interest-matching exercise. Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower said in its 2025 Job Vacancies report that workers should strengthen their “career health” through career guidance and SkillsFuture training as workforce requirements change. The government is also coordinating efforts to increase AI and digital capabilities among workers.

The pressure is particularly visible in technology and AI. Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority said in 2025 that 73.8% of surveyed workers reported using AI tools at work, while 85% of those AI users said AI had improved productivity, saved time or improved work quality. Nearly half also said AI helped enhance creativity, while one-third reported capability-development benefits.

That makes skills discovery increasingly relevant to HR and workforce technology. Employees need to understand not only what they are good at today, but which capabilities can transfer into roles being reshaped by automation, AI and digital transformation.

Singapore’s SkillsFuture ecosystem is already moving in this direction. Its current guidance highlights demand for skills spanning data analytics, computational modelling, generative AI prompt engineering and other digital technologies.

Kuder’s new course fits into that broader infrastructure by adding a planning layer around career assessment. Rather than treating assessment results as an endpoint, the company is positioning them as a starting point for exploring training and career pathways.
