Express Employment Professionals Posts $3.67B Revenue, Expands Global Staffing Footprint

Express Employment Professionals closed 2025 with $3.67 billion in revenue, employing 406,000 people across more than 850 franchise locations worldwide, reinforcing its status as a trusted, experienced staffing partner.

Powered by over 40 years of experience, Express saw strong momentum in the second half of 2025, fueled by demand for reliable staffing solutions and a “people-first” approach in an increasingly tech-driven industry.

“I am incredibly grateful to our franchise owners and their teams for continuing to lead the way in staffing innovation while staying true to our people-first values,” said Bob Funk Jr., CEO, president, and chairman of Express Employment International. “Their dedication strengthens local economies, fuels opportunity, and positions Express for continued growth in 2026 and beyond.”

Strategic Expansion in Specialty Staffing

Express broadened its global impact by growing two specialty verticals — professional and healthcare staffing — creating more opportunities for skilled workers and giving franchise teams the tools to match employers with precision.

The company also awarded 54 new franchise agreements in major U.S. markets, including Florida, California, Texas, and New York, expanding its ability to meet workforce demand in high-growth regions.

People-First, Tech-Enhanced Model

While workforce expectations evolve, Express is modernizing operations with technology designed to streamline staffing processes while preserving the personal connection central to its brand.

“Technology should never replace relationships. It should strengthen them,” Funk noted, emphasizing the company’s commitment to balancing digital tools with human engagement.
