FourLeaf Federal Credit Union Earns Great Place to Work® Certification for Third Consecutive Year

FourLeaf Federal Credit Union has earned Great Place to Work® certification for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to employees and communities amid its recent rebrand from Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

According to the certification survey, 88% of FourLeaf employees report it as a great place to work—well above the U.S. average of 57%. Employees praised a welcoming environment, strong camaraderie, flexibility, and pride in the credit union’s community impact.

“Rebranding is not simply about a new logo or name,” said Linda Armyn, President and CEO. “It’s about ensuring that as we grow, every branch, product, and hire feels rooted in the same spirit of service and care that has defined us for decades.”

How FourLeaf Protects Its Culture Amid Growth

To maintain its community-focused culture while expanding, FourLeaf has implemented intentional practices, including:

  • Mentorship programs pairing new hires with veteran employees to pass on values and traditions

  • Community engagement initiatives through direct team involvement with local nonprofits

  • Frequent listening sessions and town halls to encourage open communication

  • Branch-level autonomy to tailor solutions for local community needs

Nearly 1,000 team members currently work at FourLeaf. Employee feedback reflects a high level of satisfaction, with Glassdoor ratings at 4.7/5 and Indeed ratings at 4.1/5. Employees frequently cite work-life balance, supportive culture, competitive benefits, and career growth opportunities as key strengths.

The Great Place to Work® survey specifically highlighted:

  • 96% say new employees are made to feel welcome

  • 94% feel proud of the organization’s community contributions

  • 92% feel confident taking time off when needed

  • 91% agree that people genuinely care about one another

“Culture is not something we simply celebrate—it’s something we actively protect and grow,” said Melissa Feeny, Chief Administrative Officer. “With every new branch, product, or team member, we are deliberate in carrying forward the family-first, service-driven spirit that defines FourLeaf.”

Community Focus

FourLeaf’s employee-driven culture enables meaningful community impact. Through its Charitable Giving Program, the credit union supports education initiatives, hunger relief, health programs, free financial seminars, credit counseling, and annual scholarships for local students.

The Great Place to Work® certification, based on employee feedback and independent analysis of workplace practices, confirms that FourLeaf remains a trusted financial partner that values both its people and its communities—even amid growth and transformation.
